Thank you for saying that Nick someone on vidiq's community tab post about the a/b/c testing was a dumb feature and doing it will make you get less views because it is going to wait the impressions with potentially bad/ineffective thumbnails but I don't agree personally.

Under my advanced channel settings, I do not have the option you show "only let linked accounts use this channel's videos as ads." My video is hijacked by company ads. Do you have another fix? Is there a reason my advanced channel settings omit the option to "only let linked accounts use this channel's videos as ads."

On the a/b thumbnail testing, be sure you have advanced features turned on in your studio, otherwise you won't see the option on the thumbnail picker. The advanced features can only be accessed on a computer, I think.

So I understand this correctly, does this only work on new content or can I go back to previously posted content, design new thumbnails for that older content and test them out?

Fab trio Nick Dee Derral, Fab closing comments. 👌🏻So true, feeling a tad on the low side with stuff going on and it’s paused my art & channels the mo, but opened another door and getting all ‘green fingers vibe’ into the gardening world 💚 (so calming 😌) growing my own, going to get chickens, kids are excited etc.. 🥰 Do you think it’s a good idea to get another channel going in this area? Not an expert, ha but lots happening, As feeling maybe consistency in all, even if spread out (like constant once a month) is better than big dip posting gaps? As balance is needed, weekly etc.. too much, not enough hrs in the day4 me, why put so much pressure myself? Defo learning with all and excepting it’s not gonna be perfect. 🙃🙂

I believe it. I make music, and I only upload 1-2 times a month. If I'm working hard I'll push 3-5 singles a month. I started last year on an old account I had and i have about 17-20 singles released on this account currently. Just shy of 2.5k subs.

i just got one of my channels deleted with no warning for spam deceptive practices or scams and it a purely a gaming channel an exact copy of this channel so yeah they will delete your channel for no reason at all as well

You need an updated version with demoing description in the video as you speak.

There is UA-camr troll who used a picture of my deceased mother in his moniker and he is now using my picture as his moniker. I have asked him several times to remove it and have also reported it, but apparently it is not in violation of the terms of service. Why is it however only problematic when someone uses the picture of a famous person on UA-cam?

Thank you so much for this encouragement. It was much needed as I am learning and constantly working on improving my video quality, thumbnails etc. but getting less views. It’s definitely not easy and a continuous learning process.

Maybe its just my pessimism talking but isn't there potentially any downfalls to using 3 thumbnails, like your video not performing as well as it would have if you just used the best thumbnail to begin with?
